72 Cabarets in Victoria and still going strong; Atomic Vaudeville presents - Camp Cry Baby: Or how I stopped worrying that I would ever own a two bedroom tear down on Hastings Street, and boarded the Neo Liberal love bus to Friendly Manitoba - an exhilarating evening of sharp comedy.

Vancouver, B.C. - (June 3, 2016) Atomic Vaudeville, known best across the nation for their smash hit musical - Ride the Cyclone is set to collaborate with local Vancouver Artists to bring a unique and hilarious night of theatre on June 16/17 8PM at Fortune Sound Club (147 E Pender St.).

With a company of established and emerging local artists, Atomic Vaudeville’s Cabaret Series combines the surreal humour of The Muppet Show, the topical brilliance of Jon Stewart and the musical flair of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, for an unforgettable night that is unique to the West Coast. A night described as the funniest night out in Victoria, Atomic Vaudeville’s Cabaret series is a theatre-comedy hybrid designed to trick non-theatre-goers into a new infatuation.

Camp Cry Baby: Or how I stopped worrying that I would ever own a two bedroom tear down on Hastings Street, and boarded the Neo Liberal love bus to friendly Manitoba - takes their wit and genius to the Vancouver housing crisis, the quintessential battle between Millennials and Baby Boomers, and the founding of a summer camp to escape an adulthood they can’t afford. The cabaret features writers and performers including Katie-Ellen Humphries, Omari Newton, Jeff Gladstone, Amitai Marmorstein, Tara Travis, Mily Mumford, Hank Pine and more. This is the premiere outing in what Atomic Vaudeville hopes will become a beloved Vancouver event.
